Is alcohol allowed on the boat?
Yes, alcohol is allowed but only after you are finished diving or snorkeling.

Do you provide lunch or drinks?
We do not provide lunch. We do provide fresh water for drinking and a big cooler for anything you’d like to bring. And yes, alcohol is allowed but only after you are finished diving or snorkeling.

We are bringing one of our kid’s friends on vacation with us. Can I sign as their guardian?
As long as you have written permission from a parent or guardian that gives you temporary permission to sign as their guardian.

I still only have my Junior Open Water certification card but I’m 15 years old. Can I do the Vandenberg?
Yes, although the card itself isn’t updated, you automatically become a regular Open Water Diver once you turn 15.

Do I have to know how to swim to do the Discover Scuba Diving class?
Yes. You don’t have to be an Olympic swimmer, but we do require you to pass a swim test at the beginning of the pool session.

What is the weather cancellation policy?
If the must be canceled due to bad weather, and you cannot go on another day, you will be issued a full refund by Key West Scuba Diving.

Are my credit card details safe?
Your info’s safe with Key West Scuba Diving. We take data protection very seriously and have a 100% secure checkout for all transactions.

Detailed check-in instructions – including meeting point address, Google map, and parking information – for Miami Everglades Airboat Tour will be included in your final confirmation email from Cool Destinations. I am unable to locate the check-in. What should I do?
If you arrive for your activity start point and you are unable to locate the check-in location, we first recommend calling the local contact phone number found on your confirmation email. If you are unable to reach the local contact, we will be more than happy to help you out.

Ok, found it! What do I need to show at check-in?
Key West Scuba Diving activities accept both printed and electronic vouchers (e-vouchers). You can either print the voucher and present a paper copy on the day of travel. Or, if you travel with a mobile device, simply show your Photo ID and present your voucher on your Smartphone or tablet on the day of travel.

Are gratuities (tip) included in the price?
No. On Key West Scuba Diving tours and activities with guides, mates, captains, and assistance, tips are not included. Our general recommendation is 18-20% when you enjoy a quality service experience.

  • Key West Scuba Diving promotions cannot be combined with the lowest price guarantee.

Cool Rewards

  • Cool Rewards is a loyalty program operated by Cool Destinations. Rewards may be earned by any eligible person holding a Cool Destinations account, subject to the Cool Destinations customer Terms of Use.

Earning rewards

  • Rewards can be earned by making bookings on the Cool Destinations website. You will be able to see the value of the rewards you can earn during the booking process.
  • Earned rewards will be issued in a pending state and will move to a confirmed state 24 hours after the start time of the experience.
  • Earned rewards will be available to redeem once they are no longer in a pending state.
  • For bookings that are moved to a different travel date, the rewards will be redeemable after the amended travel date.
  • If a booking where rewards were issued is canceled, the earned rewards will not be redeemable and will be moved to a canceled state.

Redeeming rewards

  • To redeem rewards, you must be logged into your Cool Destinations account.
  • Any available rewards will be automatically applied the next time you make a booking, and their value will be deducted from your order at checkout, unless you choose not to apply them, which requires you to indicate this via the toggle switch. Bookings made using rewards are subject to the standard Cool Destinations Customer Terms of Use.
  • You will not be able to redeem only a portion of your available rewards at checkout. It is only possible to redeem all or none of your available rewards.
  • There is no minimum order value required to redeem your rewards. This means that you can pay for 100% of your order with rewards.
  • Rewards are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
  • If rewards are redeemed against a booking that is canceled or refunded, the rewards will be reissued to your account.

  • You can check your Cool Destinations account to see the rewards you have collected at any time. You are responsible for ensuring that your rewards balance is correct.

  • We reserve the right to terminate the Cool Rewards program and cease issuing any further rewards on future bookings. All pending and available rewards balances will be honored.
